On September six, 2011, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Safety issued the Interim Steps to the Participation of Foreigners Utilized in China in Social Insurance policy (the Steps) which arrived into effect on Oct 15, 2011.
The Measures specifies that companies who utilize foreigners shall, in just 30 times with the day on which the work certification is handled, make preparations for that foreigners to get involved in social insurance.
